Pike Pro Ledger Stem

Introducing the Pike Pro ledger stem, these ledger stems are designed to keep your mainline above weed-based lake bottoms. The bait popper provides the buoyancy to keep your mainline up from the deck while ledgering deadbaits.

The ledger stem allows pike to pick up a bait and move away freely with it, reducing any unwanted resistance.

The Pike Pro ledger stem is constructed from an 80lb coated seven-strand wire for strength, rigidity and durability, there is an oversized free-running swivel crimped at the top of the stem and a bait popper is snuggly fitted directly below the swivel. The other end of the wire sees a cross-lock crimped in place - this is for attaching a lead of your choice. The crimped wire is then covered by a rubber sleeve that protects the crimp and stops the crimped section picking up weed or debris during use.

Your mainline is threaded through the swivel ring, providing a resistance free-running ledger rig, followed by a buffer bead, this will ensure the ledger stem does not slide down onto your knot and cause any unwanted damage as well as ensuring your ledger stem can’t pass through your kwik change trace link and down onto the trace itself.

For a completely weed-free presentation, the Pike Pro ledger stem can be used in conjunction with Pike Pro’s Pop Up wire trace.
