The Pheasant Cock Whole Wings allow any fly tyer to become completely creative in their patterns as these feathers are so versatile. The most common kind of fly tying they are used for is wet and dry Trout flies.
The wing feathers can be used for tying wings on wet flies and wing cases on Sedges. The covert wings could be used for spider hackle and there is a small amount of neck feathers that are ideal for smaller flies such as Bugs, mainly for tying legs and tails.
