The Mustad O'Shaughnessy Short Shank is perfect for heavy duty bottom fishing with its short shank offering incredible strength it is ideal for targeting conger eel, ling, rays and any other deep-water species.

Perfectly shaped to bait with fish heads, squid or even crab, these hooks are a great choice no matter your choice of bait or target species. Thanks to the 4.3 ultrapoint technology they have an almost perfect hook up ration made with 1x strong wire these hooks are easily able to withstand the fastest runs from the strongest fish.

Whilst generally used as a bait hook, these hooks have become increasingly popular with trolling anglers for targeting lathe blue fish. These hooks are nor-tempered to offer up to 30% more strength than traditional hooks on top of this they feature a ringed eye that gives your bait of lures a more realistic movement in the water.
