Marc Petitjean Magic Tool Set

The regular Marc Petitjean Magic Tool Set kit is undoubtedly an essential tool for every fly tyer and allows you to tie all kinds of flies and use many materials all at once with complete ease.

This tool set is supplied with 3 table clips, 2 clamps and 3 wooden dowels. The wooden dowels help with winding and cutting synthetic material such as Flashabou and Crystal Flash in small strands of exactly the same size.

You use the table clips to create easy hackle substitute with a wide variety of materials. Simply place your feather into the jaws of the table clip and trim any excess on the sides. Transfer the feather from the table clip into the regular clip and you will be left with a straight stem on the edge.

Trim off the stem and incorporate the hackle into your fly’s body. You can split your thread and attach the hackle, then spin to give an amazing, buggy looking body. You can use more than one material at a time as well to create amazing hackle.
