Description / Veniard Mallard Duck Wing Quills
Both quills are predominately used for wing patterns on Trout flies. Crafted in an upwards position for dry flies and vertically positioned when tying wets.
The blue white tip quill is famously seen on the wing of the Butcher fly and other excellent examples that use the Mallard wing quills is the Kingfisher Butcher and the Gold Butcher.
There are approximately 10 Mallard Duck Wing Quills provided in each pack
The Grey Quills are approximately in 18.5cm length x 2.5cm in width.
The Blue white tip quills are approximately 11.5cm in length x 2cm in width.
