The Major Craft First Cast range offers anglers a high quality, Japanese lure rod at an affordable price that will excel in a variety of lure fishing situations!
Designed and developed by Major Craft’s experienced design team, these rods incorporate trail blazing technology and boast the finish and quality often only found on rods with a much higher price tag.
The forgiving regular fast action blank, constructed from medium elasticity carbon, loads up effortlessly, enabling the angler to hit those far out marks with minimum effort and makes working and controlling lures a breeze.
Anglers of all levels will find this rod a joy to fish with! The sensitive tip delivers fantastic bite detection and cushions sudden lunges from fish during the fight but the rod has plenty of power further down the blank to land that fish of a lifetime.
Quality Fuji guides spaced along the blank make the most of the rods action and funnel the line from the reel with minimum resistance and reduce the chance of tangles and wind knots.
A Fuji up-locking reel seat secures the reel in place while abbreviated EVA handles provide a secure, comfortable grip when casting and retrieving lures without adding excess weight, maintaining the overall lightweight feel of the rod.
These rods are finished in a black gloss with gold whippings and fittings and come supplied in a protective cloth bag.
