Major Craft Finetail Glass (Trigger Grip)

Introducing the Major Craft Finetail Glass, designed with light lure and trout stream fishing in mind allowing you to use an ultralight set up that gives you ultimate control, sensitivity and presentation. These rods are perfect for targeting trout of all sizes and excel in a number of environments.

Manufactured with a lightweight, high quality glass blank which has a sensitive through action making it ideal for casting lighter lures, giving you increased distance and better accuracy. The glass blank is able to be loaded easier allowing you to place your lure in those untouched, hard to reach areas. This easy loading blank also allows you to perform extremely accurate casts in a confined space using a multitude of under arm casting techniques.

The through action glass blank on the Finetail is ultra sensitive giving you incredible feedback when retrieving your lures helping you to be able to react to the gentlest of takes and reduce the number of missed chances. The forgiving action is also beneficial when playing fish as it prevents hook pulls and breakages, due to the blank absorbing any sudden lunges, making it perfect for when fishing light braid and tippets.

Fitted with Fuji SIC single leg rings throughout, which help keep the overall weight of the rod down. The reduced diameter of the rings reduce tangles and line twist whilst also making them perfect for use with light mainlines allowing the line to glide through the rod rings with ease.

With a high quality AAAA grade cork handle grip giving it a professional sleek finish and the ergonomic trigger style grip making it comfortable to use with a low profil BFS reel this rod is a pleasure to use. The short handle design also makes it perfect for using both in a two handed or single handed configuration and allows you to be able to underarm cast those light lures into those hard to reach spots.

Fitted with a stunning down locking silver and gold reel seat with a polished wooden insert that you can be sure will keep your chosen reel secured in place, whilst giving you an incredibly aesthetically pleasing finish.

The blank is finished in a light grey colour with gold trims and comes supplied in a protective cloth rod bag.
