Description / Korda PTFE Spinner Swivel
The Korda PTFE Spinner Swivel is an essential component for spinner rigs, designed to optimise the hooking potential by allowing the hook to spin freely. This increased rotation improves the chances of securing a firm hook hold in the carp's mouth. The PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) coating, known for its exceptionally low friction coefficient, enhances the swivel's performance by minimising friction between the barrel and the eye, ensuring smooth rotation.
This size 11 swivel is ideal for anglers looking to reduce the amount of metalware on their rigs, making it less obtrusive without compromising functionality. The design eliminates the need for a metal ring, streamlining the rig setup.
The PTFE Spinner Swivel is versatile and can be used with various hook link materials. The hook can be easily attached or detached from the ‘crook’ at the other end, which is then secured with a Korda Kicker. This keeps the rig neat and in place, ready for action.
For larger hook sizes, such as 1s and 2s, the XX version is available. It features a thicker wire gauge and is designed to be used with the new XL Kickers, ensuring a snug fit over the crook and larger hook eye.
