Introducing the Hardy Aydon Double Handed Fly Rod series, an incredibly high performance range that gives you the perfect blend of exceptional casting performance and all round fishability. Within the line up there is a rod to suit every situation you may encounter, with shorter models for low water summer conditions and smaller rivers to larger models for taking on the mightiest of salmon rivers in the spring.

Constructed with Hardy’s world famous Sintrix rod technology which delivers an incredibly lightweight but overall progressively stronger blank than traditional carbon fibre. This unique material allows for an exceptional reduction in weight which will help make your overall set up lighter whilst giving you 30% added strength. The unique technology used in the blank also provides you with increased feedback and feel giving you incredible loop control which is essential when performing traditional Spey and Scandinavian style underhand casts.

The Aydon double handed series of fly rods feature a deep loading blank that is capable of delivering incredibly long casts even when using heavy flies and sink tips, allowing you to fish effectively no matter the conditions. The incredible action on this rod enables it to be matched with various styles of salmon lines, performing well with both Scandinavian shooting heads and longer headed traditional Spey style fly lines.

Each rod is fitted with high quality ceramic lined stripper guides on the lower sections and hard chrome snake guides throughout. The tip section is finished off with a hard chrome tip ring that is incredibly durable and smooth ensuring your line will shoot through with ease. The snake guides are designed to keep your fly line away from the rod blank reducing friction which will help to improve your casting distance.

The Aydon Double Handed Fly Rods feature high quality grade cork handles which provide a professional finish whilst helping to ensure maximised longevity so you can be sure you will be using this rod for many seasons to come. Each rod is finished off with a custom designed lightweight reel seat which features a keyed sliding band for easy use and dual down locking screws for securing your chosen reel in place.

Each section has line up ID marker dots for quickly being able to identify if your rod sections are straight once assembled. The Aydon series of rods feature a dark olive colouration blank and are finished with olive whippings and trims throughout.

Each rod is a 4 piece configuration and is supplied in a high quality protective cloth rod bag and is housed in an olive finish Hardy branded protective cordura travel tube that provides you with ultimate protection for your rod when storing or when on the go.
