The Guideline Søndergaard Coastal Stripping Basket is the large-format solution for fly anglers demanding flawless line control, particularly in challenging environments. As the slightly larger Coastal model, it is designed to keep your line organised even in gusty winds and when wading deep, making it the ultimate tool for shore and surf fishing.
This basket excels at efficient line handling. It features 14 cm long, flexible silicone posts that reliably prevent tangles and keep your shooting line perfectly organised. The silicone is tuned to securely hold modern shooting lines without causing damage, flexing under pressure to offer the perfect balance between control and release.
The basket's half-open design supports quick line pickup, crucial when a fast recast is needed. By keeping your line elevated away from sharp rocks, seaweed, or gear, it actively protects the line's coating and extends its lifespan.
