Guideline NT11 Switch Fly Rod

Introducing the Guideline NT11 Switch Fly Rod, a range that combines cutting-edge aerospace technology with sophisticated graphite materials, delivering a rod series that sets the bar for strength, recovery speed, and casting precision. These lightweight two handed rods are the perfect option for low water conditions and smaller rivers.

Produced with T1100 CAP Technology blanks these rods feature amazing recovery speed and incredible crispness making them a joy to cast. This industry leading technology also helps to create a super lightweight blank with the most strength out of any other rod on the market.

Each rod is fitted with beautiful FLOR-grade cork, and on rear grips and fighting butts to provide an exceptionally professional and long lasting finish. The powder cork reinforcement along with the super high density cork enables these handles to remain pretty after years of use.

Fitted lower sections of the rod are high quality titanium lightweight framed stripping guides and superb quality stainless steel single-leg running guides with titanium coating throughout. These slick guides enable your line to run through with exceptional ease allowing you to generate high line speeds for improved casting distance.

Designed with their own custom reel seats designed by Guideline’s own R&D team, featuring a hard-anodised and very scratch-resistant semi-matte finish. These attractive reel seats not only proved an aesthetically pleasing finish but provide a secure grip on your chosen fly reel.

Finished with a matte satin finish blank with deep carbon grey coating, giving the rods a stealthy, classy, and non-flashy look. All guides are wrapped with dark grey thread, and on all ferrules, stripper guides, and logo areas, they are finished with subtle blue trim wraps.

Each rod is delivered with a light and strong rod bag made from 4-ways stretch nylon, and rod tubes are made from light polycarbonate with a strong polyester fabric cover and a natural leather logo patch.

Model Breakdown:
11´6" #6/7: This is the perfect rod for situations from smaller to larger rivers and will handle all types of lines and sizes of fish. It's a perfect rod for large migratory trout, steelhead and of course salmon in mid sized rivers.

11´6" #7/8: This is probably the most popular and versatile rod in the range, being powerful enough to cover big water and large fish, yet being smooth and light enough to sneak around in smaller rivers chasing migratory trout.

11´6" #8/9: The "big gun" in the NT11 Switch range, designed to cope with tough waters, heavy lines and big fish but still being a more suitable rod in tight conditions and mid size rivers. Even though it has a huge amount of power, you will still have a very nice and light feeling whilst casting and fishing it.
