Guideline Flatwing

All Guideline flies are crafted with care and consistency by some of the best commercial tiers in the industry. Their saltwater flies for fishing on the coast have extra high demands both in terms of durability and that they should not rust in tough use. All their coastal and saltwater flies are tied on corrosion-free hooks of the best quality and with super sharp points for a clean hook up every time.

When the water warms up in the spring, sandeels start appearing along the coast. That’s when this fly is usually on our leader. Retrieve the fly as fast as possible, preferably with the rod in the armpit and both hands on the line. Strikes on these fish imitations are usually very determined! In our opinion, this fly works best in late spring/early summer.
