Description / Guideline Elevation Single Handed Fly Rod

The Guideline Elevation Single Handed Fly Rods are a super easy to load, lightweight and smooth medium fast action rod that offers exceptional value for money making it a great choice for both beginners and experienced anglers alike!

The precision blank development process eliminates unnecessary material in each section, allowing for precise power monitoring throughout the blank. This results in extremely light and responsive rod that are the strongest standard rods Guideline has ever created.

These rods feature a sensitive and protective tip with a stable, crisp feel. The smooth progressive curve down the blank and powerful butt section make casting easy and forgiving, producing accurate casts at high line speeds.

The matte eco-friendly blanks are lightly buffed blanks that have no added colouration, presenting a dark graphite grey appearance. Excessive carbon waste particles are collected and treated before water is passed on to community cleaning facilities.

Featuring sustainable improved full wells grips made of 3A cork without rubber cork reinforcements reducing the levels of epoxy resins needed. Even the lighter rods feature a small cork butt, and from 9’ #7 and up, all rods include full-size fighting butts.

The reel seats use a clear anodised process, which is the least toxic method for aluminium reel seats. No chrome (lead) or paint is used in the anodising bath, making it an environmentally safer option. For coatings on blanks, guides, and mounting glue, a bio-based low-toxic epoxy has been used to help make a far more environmentally friendly produced rod range.

Each rod is mounted with light wire single-leg guides and KW style stripper guides, featuring a gun smoke powder coat finish on a stainless frame. This sustainable choice avoids chrome plating, which contains lead. The 10’ models are fitted with classic double-leg snake guides for added durability.

Produced from recycled materials the rod bag and rod tube cover are made of recycled REPREVE polyester. The rod tubes are crafted from recyclable polypropylene (PP), offering durability and a 20% lower diameter than standard PVC tubes, saving space and reducing weight.

The Guideline Elevation Single Handed Fly Rods are available in a range of lengths and casting weights for you to choose from in our drop down menus. Each rod is a 4 piece configuration and comes in an attractive matte dark graphite grey finish.

Brilliant rods .
Review by Derek
Having used Hardy rods for many years I bought the 9.9ft #7 as a back up rod and have been highly impressed by them . A friend let me try his and I really enjoyed my time with it . Light as a feather and a cracking look and fit and finish , and they have a strong eco development team , ensuring each model is low imprint on the eco system. Can't fault them at all .
