The Guideline Coastal Classic Fly Line is engineered to be the new benchmark for coastal anglers, sharing the unique and highly effective taper of the legendary original Coastal line. This line is designed to be an invaluable tool for targeting coastal species, with a taper that easily cuts through the wind and can deliver impressive distance when needed.
The Coastal Classic features an updated new coating formula combined with a new core, ensuring the line remains supple in colder climates and significantly reduces line memory.
The head length and taper design make this line exceptionally easy to cast, delivering outstanding performance regardless of the angler's skill level.
This line retains the ideal taper, lengths, and weights of the original Coastal but benefits from minor adjustments and new materials. The line includes a generous 2-meter back taper, giving you the flexibility to either carry a significant amount of line in the air for maximum distance or quickly deliver a cast with the back taper still in the rod tip. The level belly ensures a smooth flow of casting energy, while the long front taper guarantees excellent presentation and sufficient power to turn over larger flies, even in windy conditions.
