Description / Veniard Grouse Whole Wings
The Grouse Whole Wing feathers are a pair of the popular game bird's wings. These wings have soft and natural hackle feathers with distinct markings that are essential for fly tying wet Trout flies as well as Spider flies.
Most commonly, these feathers are used for hackle for Spider flies and they can be used on Nymph flies for creating tail patterns and wings as well.
Common flies that use the Grouse Whole Wing feathers are the Yellow Spider fly, Green Grouse and Indian Yellow.
The Grouse Whole Wing, measures approximately 19cm in length x 11.5cm in width. These wings are excellent value for money as they come with a large variety of different sized feathers to use.
