Greys Wing Double Handed Fly Rod

Introducing the Greys Wing Double Handed series a high performance range of salmon fly rods. Within the line up there is a range of lengths and casting weights to suit various sized rivers and water conditions.

Designed and constructed with Powerlux carbon material for a lower profile rod blank and more balanced feel. The unique construction helps provide you with a lightweight rod that has an increased strength over traditional carbon fibre fly rods, this is achieved by the distribution of nano particles between each fibre within the blank.

The Wing Double Handed series of fly rods feature a medium to fast action which is suited to both the beginner and experienced angler alike as they are easy to cast and load. Featuring a high recovery rate which allows for improved feedback giving you better loop control when casting. The deep flexing action on these rods makes them perfectly suited for Spey casting and allows them to be matched with various styles of salmon fly lines.

Each rod has been fitted with high quality lined stripper guides on the lower sections and double leg snake guides throughout. The snake guides are designed to help reduce friction during the cast by keeping your line away from the rod blank, improving your casting distance. The top section has been finished off with a high quality hard chrome tip ring for maximum durability.

The Wing range of rods have been fitted with a high quality AAA grade cork handle for a professional and long lasting finish. Each rod is finished off with full alloy down locking reel seat with a keyed sliding band and dual locking nuts for easy use and to give you complete confidence your chosen reel will be secured in place.

Featuring line up ID markers on each rod section so you can quickly and precisely identify your rod sections are straight once assembled. The Wing range of rods come in an aesthetically pleasing red and grey finish with black whippings and trims throughout.

Each rod is supplied in protective rod cloth bag and comes supplied in a hard travel tube.
