Greys Kite Double Handed Fly Rod

The Greys Kite Double Handed Fly Rods are a modernised high performance range of salmon fly rods that are constructed with the highest quality components. This range of rods comes in various lengths and line ratings to suit a variety of salmon fishing applications.

These rods have been constructed with Toreon carbon technology, which incorporates high quality resin that has been infused between each carbon fibre within the rod blank. This has created an incredibly lightweight rod that has an increased strength over blanks produced with traditional carbon fibre.

The Kite Double Handed series of fly rods feature a high recovery action, which will provide you with incredible feedback throughout the cast allowing for better loop control. The medium to fast action of the rods makes them ideal for both the beginner and experienced angler alike as they are easy to cast and load. The action on these rods enable them to be paired with various styles of salmon fly lines and will perform well with both Scandinavian shooting heads and Spey style lines.

Fitted with high quality line stripper guides on the lower sections and single leg snake guides throughout. The snake guides are designed to help reduce friction during the cast by keeping your fly line away from the rod blank helping generate higher line speeds, giving you extra distance on your cast. The top section on these rods is finished off with a high quality hard chrome tip ring for maximised durability.

Each rod has been fitted with a high quality AAA cork handle which provides a professional and long lasting finish. The Kite series of fly rods are finished off with a high quality full alloy reel seat with dual down locking nuts to keep your chosen reel secured in place.

The Kite Double Handed series feature line up ID markers on each section so you can quickly and precisely identify your rod sections are assembled correctly before commencing fishing. Each rod blank is finished in black/grey finish and features aesthetically pleasing black whippings and trims throughout.

Each rod is supplied with a protective cloth rod bag and hard tube for the ultimate protection when travelling or storing.
