Plastic Tube Flies

Plastic tube flies are lighter in weight than metal tubes of the same size meaning they’ll fish closer to the surface and are great for fishing shallow water or during low water conditions. Available in a range of sizes and patterns, smaller plastic tubes flies offer a subtle, lightweight presentation while larger tubes and patterns, such as Sunray Shadows, offer a bigger fly that can still be fished near the surface. Hitch tubes are small tube flies designed to hitch or riffle across the surface of the water drawing fish up to strike. They achieve this due to the line exiting the side of the tube, rather than the top, causing the fly to ride up in the water and skate across the surface.
