The Gaelforce Equalizer ESSS Switch and Short Spey Line is specifically designed to provide modern anglers with a high performance line that provides excellent balance, practicality and is ultra easy to cast.

This line range features a 33ft integrated head and is designed to work with Switch and Spey rods and is ideal when you are fishing in tighter casting situations. This range is available in sizes 6/7, 7/8, 8/9 and 9/10 from 380grains to 508 grains.

I fish a lot of overgrown spate rivers. On my 13ft #8, this line is perfect. With a head length of 33ft and a 10ft poly leader, it is a great combo. Generally, I do not have room to use 40ft+ heads. That said, I used my Gaelforce on the Tweed recently and it flew. I will buy another one.

The usual pre purchase support from Angling Active staff was spot on and a speedy delivery of the new fly line completed.
The matching of the line to the rod is now absolutely right and tight loops and the correct feed back from the rod is there. All I need now are taking fish!

Perfect partner to the Hardy Jet Switch Rod

I have two of these lines matched to the 8/9 & 7/8 Hardy Jet Switch 11’ rods. Nothing has compared it in terms of presentation, rod loading, and simple ease of use. I’ve used 3 other lines with these rods and this is definitely the best partner.
