Frodin Flies Micro Nasty Banana

Here it is again, Frodin’s most well-known pattern. A fly that has taken tens of thousands of salmon. Fish it gladly and often, big or small! It’s a great standard fly which works everywhere, perhaps best in tea coloured rivers, or on that low August river.

These micro tubes will out-fish small hook flies anytime. Lighter and livelier, offering the flexibility to change hook size and colour, they are simply one of the best designs.

Frodin Flies advise that you fish the fly loosely on the leader, securing the hook with FITS tubing in S or XS.

Sometimes you may vary the hackle and put the orange grizzly to the front and sometimes you might use that orange metallic coloured cone, nevertheless in any shape it’s just a fantastic little fly!
