Description

Details

The Fox Rage Twin Treble wire trace has been specifically designed to fish with dead baits. This pre-made pike trace has been constructed from Fox’s 49-strand steel wire and Powerpoint treble hooks. The 49 strand provides a more supple trace wire which will increase the longevity of the trace as it is less prone to pig tailing or kinking, unlike some 7 strand wires.

Fitted with Fox Powerpoint treble hooks, these hooks are sticky sharp right out of the packaging. With a slightly larger gape than a standard treble hook, this allows the hookpoints to stand proud of the bait and will inevitably help increase hook-up ratios.

The Fox Rage twin treble trace is fitted with a diamond eyed swivel, this unique diamond eyelet provides the perfect taper for sliding on the black tail rubber that provides a slight bit of rigidity to ensure the wire trace does not tangle around your mainline/lead during the cast, it also provides protection to the crimped connection.

The two trebles also contain rubber sleeves to protect the crimped connections of the trace. These sleeves also provide a streamlined presentation and cover any sharp wire ends that may cause damage to the angler or fish.

Coming in at 50cm in length, these wire traces can be used in various ledgering or float fishing tactics. We recommend using a quick change link in conjunction with these traces. As it allows you to remove the trace from the mainline when dealing with a fish in the net.

Coming in a barbed and barbless hook arrangement. We recommend crushing down two of the hook points on each treble and place the remaining barb into the deadbait, this will provide a better hook hold for your bait and the barbless points will make it easier for removing the hooks from the fish.

Size 4 and 6 feature 40lb breaking strain steel wire. The size 8 features 26lb breaking strain steel wire.
