The Sunburst Blob is probably one of the most common and effective patterns used on The Lake of Menteith. With the addition of white booby eyes this fly can be used with a "plopping" method to attract the attention of fish in rough conditions. Equally this is a very useful pattern in calmer conditions when used in conjunction with Nymphs or Buzzers whilst fishing the washing line method.
