Description / Dennett Anti Kink Vane
The Dennett Anti Kink Vane is the perfect solution to reducing line twist on your mainline.
Using fast revolving lures such as mepps or flying C’s can play havoc with your mainline and this can result in extreme line twist and tangles. This can be overcome by decoupling the action of the lure from the mainline and the anti-kink vane acts like a rudder in the water and forces the swivel to do its job, allowing all the line twist to absorbed by the swivel that is integrated into the vane.
By tying the eyelet of the anti-kink vane to your mainline then tying a 18 inch length of line between the anti-kink vane swivel and your lure, you will greatly reduce the amount of line twist.
To make the rig more flexible, you can tie in small egg snaps so you can change lures and ant kink vanes easily. This will eliminate the need to re-tie the full rig.
