The Cortland Compact Sink Type 6 is a high-performance fly line specifically designed to handle large, air-resistant flies and target fish at significant depths. Part of Cortland’s Specialty Series, this line features a 28 ft. Type 6 sinking head (6-7 IPS) paired with a short 3 ft. front taper, ensuring powerful turnover and precise presentations.

The 2 ft. back taper enhances line loading and makes casting smooth and effortless, while the intermediate running line eliminates hinge points, creating a seamless transition as your fly sinks into the strike zone. This dual-coloured line (black and electric green) makes it easy to identify the taper change while maintaining stealth in freshwater and saltwater environments.
