Coarse & Carp Fishing Banksticks & Rod Pods

Banksticks, buzz bars and rod pods allow the angler to rest their rod when fishing, freeing up their hands to bait up or ready rigs. Banksticks are available in a range of sizes and can be telescopic or fixed. Shorter banksticks keep rods lower to the ground, which can help when it’s windy, whilst longer banksticks are useful on steep banks. A rod rest can be added to the top of a bankstick to hold a single rod or a buzz bar can be used. A buzz bar allows 2 or 3 rod rests to be used with a bankstick.
Rod pods offer a convenient, sturdy alternative to banksticks and buzz bars. They are particularly useful when fishing on wooden platforms or stony banks where banksticks can’t be used. Rod pods can be set up and positioned easily and normally hold multiple rods.
