The Cling Rod Rack is an innovative two-part system designed to securely hold your fly rod during fly changes, fish releases, or any situation where you need to set your rod down for a minute. It is the perfect solution for keeping your hands free and your rod safe and secure.
Cling Fishing Products was born from passion in founder Jared May's garage in Bozeman, Montana. The company is incredibly proud to manufacture all their core products, including the popular Mag Grab range, right in Montana. Cling's gear is built by avid anglers who know what works and is rigorously tested on Montana's blue ribbon trout streams.
The system is built using strong magnetic components encased in a durable material. The base plate is designed to securely attach to the rod butt with a strong rubber clasp, while the docking station is designed to be easily attached to your waders, pack, or vest. The unit seamlessly integrates a line threading feature and an eye cleaning needle.
The key feature of the Rod Rack is its two-part magnetic system. The top magnet, or docking station, easily attaches to your gear, and the rod mount secures to the butt of your rod with a strong rubber clasp. Get them close, and click—your rod is secure and instantly accessible. The Rod Rack also features a line threading feature that magnetically holds your flies (even small ones!) on a groove to make threading the eye quick and easy. An integrated eye cleaning needle is available to clear clogged hook eyes, and a hook keeper feature gives you a convenient spot to attach your flies, lures, and hooks.
