Berkley URBN Tungsten Bottom Weights

The Berkley URBN Tungsten Bottom Weights provide a similar presentation to a jig head but provide additional benefits. Also commonly known as Cheburashka weights, these give more articulation, a weedless presentation and provide a quick way of changing weight to suit your fishing conditions.

These weights have a spherical shaped tungsten construction that has a slot through the middle of it that a small paper-like clip slides into. On one end of this clip your line is tied on whilst the wider end of the clip an offset hook is clipped on. The whole design concept is to present a weedless soft plastic lure on the bottom and provide increased articulation. This provides a more natural presentation overall and designed to fool the wariest of fish.

The tungsten design is much harder and denser material than lead, this coupled with a smaller overall physical mass compared to its lead counterpart results in a bottom weight that provides more sensitivity and a more subtle presentation of your softbait.

These bottom tungsten weights work extremely well with all soft plastic lures that are designed to accommodate an offset hook. Try using a soft plastic lure with floating properties to create another dimension to your presentation.
