Description / Airflo 14ft Salmon Polyleaders
These 14ft Salmon Polyleaders are used to help improve turnover and fly presentation due to their tapered design. The intermediate and sinking versions can also be attached to the end of a floating fly line to create a sink tip type line to reach deeper water where salmon like to hide.
Available in various types from Floating through to extra super fast sinking.
Attach these to the end of your fly line, add your choice of tippet to make up to length and attach flies.
Densities and sink rates below:
Clear Floating = 0
Clear Hover = 0.5”/sec
Clear Intermediate = 1.5”/sec
Slow Sink = 2”/sec
Fast Sink = 3”/sec
Super Fast Sink = 5”/sec
Extra Fast Sink = 7”/sec
The Airflo 14ft Salmon Polyleaders have a breaking strain of 30lb and are pre-looped on one end for easy attachment to your fly line.
