The Abu Garcia Beast 400 Series Low Profile Casting Reel has been completely redesigned to be the ultimate large-format Low Profile (LP) reel for cranking power, drag performance, and durability. It is engineered to be easily palmed, giving anglers more fish-stopping power than any other reel in its class.

The internal system features an Oversized Brass Duragear Gen III system for maximum longevity and cranking power. The drag system is assembled with the powerful Power Stack Carbon Matrix Drag System, delivering up to 30lbs of drag and the entire gearing utilises a smooth 7 stainless steel HPCR bearings + 1 roller bearing system.

The key feature of the Beast 400 is its massive fish-stopping power in an ergonomic package. Its A-Symmetric body design allows for a more compact and ergonomic reel that is easy to palm.
The 105mm bowed Aluminium handle with new oversized knobs provides greater grip. It is designed for anglers throwing big baits for Muskie and large swimbaits, and is suited for all water applications.
