The Abu Garcia Abumatic SX Spincast features a modern design and advancements which makes this reel stand out from the rest. This is a closed face fixed spool reel that is less likely to have an over-run and makes it ideal for beginners or young anglers.

The reel is constructed with a strong graphite frame and stainless steel front cone which ensures durability. The reel has a snubberless casting system and this challenges the traditional Spincast design by utilising the pickup pin to initiate casting instead of pinching the line against the cone. This results in an increase in casting efficiency and a reduction in line wear.

Furthermore, the QuadCam mechanism initiates faster line engagement on the retrieve and the reel includes a 3 bearing system along with an ultra smooth drag system.

This reel is ideally suited for coarse fishing, trotting, grayling and trout fishing.
