Description / Veniard Woodcock Hackles
The Veniard Woodcock Hackles are beautifully marked individual hackle feathers that are mainly used for wet and dry Trout fly tying.
These feathers are most commonly used by being wound as hackle collars due to their soft nature. They can also be used for wing patterns.
Examples of flies that use Woodcock Hackles are the Woodcock & Red Spider, Woodcock & Mix and the Woodcock & Hares Lug Spider
