Tubeworx Tungsten Cones

The trend now is to use smaller flies for our Salmon fishing, so unsurprisingly tungsten products have started to appear in our fly tying kits. Tungsten is a very hard metal with a density 19 times greater than water, and almost twice as dense as lead. Put simply, you get more weight from less material.

At Tubeworx we have tested tungsten cones and tubes in such places as Iceland where you need small flies that sink quickly to where the fish are holding. Tungsten is a perfectly suited material for this task.

We're keeping it simple with our tungsten range - no fancy colours, just functional products that just work.

As with all Tubeworx components, the tungsten tubes and cones fit onto the inner tube and work like a dream.
