The Strike Indicator Company New Zealand Strike Indicator Tool Kit is an innovative tool system that lets you quickly and effortlessly make and remove strike indicators from your line with total ease.

This system works by having your tube sleeves prepared on the tool and placing the loop of your leader into the hook end of the tool. Then simply guide the tubing over the line loop. Place your choice of indicator into the loop and then pull either end of the leader loop to secure into place and you have an indicator ready to fish!

This tool is simple but highly functional and is made from high quality materials. The indicator tool is designed specifically for fly anglers and features a hook at the end for creating a loop to create your indicator. There is also a slot near the tip which reduces surface tension for the tubing sleeve to easily slide onto the leader.

The tubing will grip your leader and stay put but can be easily adjusted, to quickly vary the depth you are fishing. The tubing is tough and can be placed back onto the tool after use. You can slide your indicator up and down your leader without worrying about any kinks or slipping and the whole tool system is completely knotless.

There are two pieces of the indicator material provided per pack that are made from 100% New Zealand wool and lands gently on the water’s surface. This pack includes the chartreuse and white indicator colours. Chartreuse is best when the background is dark or in low light conditions and the white looks like an air bubble, making it a good choice when fishing for spooky fish and or heavily fished areas as the indicator is more subtle. The wool is naturally buoyant but it is recommended to add fly floatant.

The indicator will not slip even with a huge fish on the line, aggressive casting or high wind conditions and it is easily adjusted when desired. If the fish start rising it only takes a second to remove the indicator so you can start dry fly fishing immediately. You can also trim your indicator to different sizes to match conditions.

The Strike Indicator Company New Zealand Strike Indicator Tool Kit includes the strike indicator tool with a loop to attach to a zinger on your vest for convenient use. There are tubing sleeves provided on the tool, 12 inches of extra replacement tubing and two samples of New Zealand wool.
