The Simms Merino Midweight Hiker Sock is made from Merino wool for exceptional comfort and support on your fishing trip.
This sock has a half calf height and is made of midweight Merino wool that has naturally wicking properties to help keep your feet dry and comfortable. The fabric also has natural odour resistance as well for improved comfort and freshness.
Merino wool is exceptional for performance outdoor wear because the fabric is excellent at regulating body temperature by keeping you warm on cold days and cooler on warm days. It has an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio compared to other wools, in part because the smaller fibres trap body heat.
The socks have cushioning in high impact areas as well for support and have a slight stretch for optimum fitting comfort.
