Introducing the Shimano TLD A Standup rods, the ultimate option for the angler targeting the largest of hard fighting fish such as skate, tuna and a variety of shark species. These super reliable and incredibly strong rods will not let you down even under the most extreme amounts of pressure.

Designed and produced with an improved XT60 + Biofibre blank which is thinner yet stronger than previous models in the TLD range. The blanks have been reinforced with Biofibre which makes the rod blank stronger in all directions and gives you outstanding strength, shock resistance, lightness and power.

Featuring high quality stainless steel roller guides throughout which allow your line to travel through them with ease and eliminates the worry of damage being done to your mainlines. Fitted with a high quality pacific bay reel seat that has been machined from marine grade aluminium and fully anodised to prevent the reel seat from corroding giving whilst giving you an exceptionally strong professional finish that will securely hold your chosen reel in place.

The high quality ergonomically shaped high quality EVA handle provides you with incredible amounts of comfort and grip even during the longest most intense battles. Each rod features a gimble for utilising this rod with a fighting belt when playing those hard fighting fish.
