Introducing the Shimano Tekota multiplier reel, a true workhorse that offers high performance and a professional finish. These range reels have been designed with the boat fishing or light trolling saltwater angler in mind.

These fully sealed saltwater safe reels has been constructed with Shimano’s Hagane body technology which creates an incredibly strong and durable finish that will stand up to years of use and the harshest of conditions.

These reels feature an incredibly strong brass gearing system which will with stand battles from the most powerful and hardest of fighting saltwater species. This reel also has a clicker system that can be easily switched on or off with the flick of a switch, allowing the reel to be used for bait fishing applications.

Housed within the reel is 3 S AR-B bearings which feature a shield on both sides of the bearing reducing the chance of sand and salt from negatively impacting on the smooth motion of the reel when retrieved.

The incredibly robust and powerful drag system on these can easily be adjusted with the star style drag knob on the side of the reel, ensuring you can crank up the pressure with ease in those crucial moments during a fight. These reels provide an impressive 11kg of drag when locked down helping you tame those monster fish!

These reels also come fitted with a line counter system which allows you to precisely and accurately determine what depth your lures or baits are fishing at every drop, helping you stay in the strike zone for longer incresing your catch rate. Each reel has a fitted level wind spooling system which helps ensure excellent line lay on the spool every time.

The Shimano Tekota Reel is available in one model only and is a right hand wind, each reel is finished off in an aesthetically pleasing grey/silver finish.
