Shimano Beastmaster BX Slim Boat Rod

The Shimano Beastmaster BX Slim Boat Rods are a lightweight yet strong rod range that are built on Shimano's reputable and reliable XT60 carbon. These powerful boat rods are like a wolf in sheep's clothing, the slim and lightweight blank helps eliminate any fatigue during use, however, the blank has a lot of power and this is noted through the butt of the rod.

Aesthetically, the rod is subtle with a matte black carbon finish with stylish aluminium collars located throughout the handle. The overall rod blank is finished off with yellow whippings which is the colour scheme associated with the Beastmaster branding.

The handle is made of a tough and low maintenance EVA, providing enhanced grip even when wet and is easily maintained by wiping down with a wet cloth.

The reel seat is Shimano's own aluminium design, providing a lightweight yet strong reel seat which will accommodate most multiplier reels. The Beastmaster BX it also braid and mono compatible thanks to the Fuji Stainless Steel guides fitted throughout. The stainless steel guides also provide extra strength and robustness so they can deal with the rigours of saltwater boat fishing.

Coming with a 1+1 section construction, the rod handle fits into the rest of the rod blank, this provides extra backbone at the butt section of the rod whilst allowing you to utilise the full action of the rod.
