Haven’t fished this yet, it’s a gift for my father who is a lake angler trying Sea fishing with me for the first time. Seems well made for the price. Reel seems decent enough. It will catch fish with no problems without breaking the bank. For those looking for a gift, back up rod combo, or getting into fishing this is a good option. Doesn’t look fancy but will get the job done.
