The Shakespeare Barbie Childrens Fishing Kit is a fun, exciting and perfect starter kit for junior anglers. This kit includes a rod, reel, line and a practice plug and is a great way to help kids learn how to fish.

The rod has a reel fully attached to it with fishing line included in the spool. Located on the reel is a thumb push button and this will lock the fishing line to prevent it from coming off the spool. The rod can then be brought backwards behind the head and whipped forward whilst releasing the thumb push button to cast the practice plug out.

This will help children learn to cast effectively and it can be done on dry land before they go into the water. The 2ft 6 rod is designed all around Barbie and is pink in colour with pale blue details. The handle features a little Barbie sticker and the practice casting plug is pale blue in colour.

The packaging is bright pink and features a cartoon design of Barbie who is holding her own fishing rod too! On the back of the packaging, there is a small and fun fishing checklist for little ones to read so they know what to take with them when fishing.
