Scott Flex Fly Rod

The Scott Flex Fly Rod is built with X Core technology for ultimate balance and performance, producing a light weight with a fast and forgiving action that produces tight loops with complete ease for maximum casting accuracy and control.

The X-Core technology, shortened for Expanded Core, designs fast tapered mandrels with low-mass, thin-walled blanks and utilises proprietary ARC reinforcement. This technology and design transmits feel and maintains stability throughout the entire blank for enhanced sensitivity and unequalled performance.

The rod is designed with multi-modulus carbon fibre positioning that varies the fibre tensile modulus along the length of the rod. This allows the stiffness and recovery speed to be precisely controlled, resulting in a rod that loads and unloads smoothly with a fine tuned flex and recovery.

The ARC, Advanced Reinforced Carbon adds incredible strength and durability to the blank without adding weight and reduces torque that can cause issues with casting distance and control. The handles are made from high quality cork and the powerful butt sections help with quick, positive hook sets and fish control.

The Scott Flex Fly Rod is fitted throughout with top quality components and has a natural blank finish that is black in colour with white colour accents throughout. The rod has a 4 piece construction and is supplied in a cloth bag with an aluminium tube.
