Scierra Prolonged Shooting Head

The Scierra Prolonged Shooting Head is available in three different densities, all designed with slightly longer heads to effectively cast and cover larger Salmon rivers like the Tay.

The lines are perfect for achieving medium to long casts and when you decide you need a bit more range in your cast, these shooting heads will manage those extra metres with ease. This range of shooting heads work very well for anglers as a transition from a Spey line to a Shooting head and have been specifically designed with optimal balance, perfect weight distribution and an ultra smooth taper.

Each shooting head will perform perfectly both with and without polyleaders and there are soft, small micro welded loops provided on both ends. There is also a line indication print provided on the line to help you identify your type and weight of line with ease.

The three different densities available are:

Floating
Float/Sink1
Float/Sink3

Each density is a different colour, the Floating is Ice Blue, the Float/Sink1 is Ice Blue/Glass Blue and the Float/Sink3 is an Ice Blue/Dark Blue colour.
