Scandinavian Tackle Easy Catch Downrigger EC-100

The Scandinavian Tackle Easy Catch Downrigger EC-100 is highly efficient and easy to use, perfect for attaching to your boat for trolling and fishing your lure presentations at a controlled depth.

This downrigger operates manually and allows anglers to troll effectively for Salmon, Trout, Pike and Pollock. Usually at the end of the line on the downrigger you will attach a cannonball. While you boat is at trolling speed, set up your rod and place in the boom mounted adjustable rod holder and lift the cannonball out the water. Then attach the line from the downrigger onto your line release and gently place the cannonball back into the water.

This set up means that when a fish takes your lure it will pull your fishing line from the line release to let you fight the fish, without fighting a weight. You can use the depth counter on the downrigger to find the depth fish are feeding at and this will allow you to keep your lures running consistently at that depth, in the "feeding zone".

This downrigger features a strong, steel 23” in length boom and 1 Power Grip Plus line release and an automatic brake. It is also fitted with a depth counter and has a very smooth, easy retrieve.

The Scandinavian Tackle Easy Catch Downrigger EC-100 is also supplied pre-spooled with 60m/70kg steel wire and includes a user manual.
