Great bit of kit. We boat fish, mainly trolling and this net is great landing those big struggling fish. No more trebles imbedded in the nylon net. Quick to get the fish out and back to trolling.
Time will tell on build quality but very happy with my other Savage Gear purchases, the do seem to stand the rigors of hard salt water fishing.

This net suits the needs of a predator angler providing a combination of easy to assemble when fishing alone and rubber mesh. This suits the need of both bait and lure angler.

I purchased this item to use when lure fishing for pike, looking for something that would not constantly snag the treble hooks on plugs. The Savage Gear net with its rubber mesh should preclude the frustration of trying to untangle trebles. I've yry ton use the net, but overall I'm impressed by the build quality and design. The spreaded block is solid and locks the net firmly into the handle, plus allowing it to be folded back whilst travelling or in storage. The only change I would make is an option for a telescopic handle as the one supplied is a bit short for working from a bank.
