Salmo Sweeper

The Salmo Sweeper is an iconic glide bait designed for targeting pike. Thanks to the tail fin on the rear of the lure and the narrow elongated body profile, the sweeper glides wide and effortlessly in a mesmerising zig zag motion thanks to its precise weighting.

The tail fin provides stability so the lure can be worked at speed without it keeling over and the narrow body profile allows it to displace water easily which allows the lure to glide as wide as it does.

As previously mentioned, the Sweeper is a critically balanced lure that can even turn 180 degrees on its own axis with the subtlest of taps of the rod tip. This easy to work glide bait can be worked using a straight retrieve, spin stop tactics or by imparting the action of the lure using the rod tip.
