Sage Motive Fly Rod

The Sage Motive saltwater fly rod is constructed from time-proven materials and embodies a smooth fast action, designed for handling many hard-fighting saltwater species.

Built using Graphite IIIe technology, this is made from proprietary carbon/resin composite materials and utilises modulus positioning and graphite/glass scrim layering. This combined enhances blank strength and the layered construction reduces weight and increases cross-sectional durability and performance.

Graphite IIIe technology also results in a higher connection feel throughout the casting stroke for longer, more accurate casts. The Motive will feel light in weight and incredibly responsive so you can feel completely connected to your line for ultimate control over a full day of enjoyable casting.

It also features a smooth, powerful fast action that loads quickly to deliver heavy saltwater flies with accuracy. The blank is fitted throughout with oversized ceramic stripper guides and oversized hard chromed snake guides and tip-top.

The handle section includes a black anodized aluminium up-locking reel seat with a hook keeper and a premium, full-wells cork handle with fighting butt. The Motive has a stunning vibrant Bluefin Blue blank colour and blue thread wraps with royal blue and black trim wraps.

The Sage Motive Fly Rod has a 4 piece section design and is supplied in its own blue steel coloured ballistic nylon rod tube with a divided liner. You can select your choice of model from our drop down menu.
