Ron Thompson Snake Lead

The Ron Thompson Snake Lead is a snag resistant sinker which has a tough flexible body. This product is suitable for river, shore or boat fishing. The snake lead has been designed to reduce the risk of snagging on a rough ground.

These snake leads are commonly used when targeting species such as pike, zander and salmon. You can use them for bouncing a lure across the water, general light bottom fishing or drifting over shallow inshore reefs.

Made from tough outer material which resists abrasion on the sea bed, the material contains a string of beads which provides weight and flexibility to help prevent the sinker getting caught in weeds and rocks. In addition to that, there is a swivel fitted on the end of the lead for easy attachment to lines.

Furthermore, this snake lead is ideal for worming on the river for salmon and can be used in conjunction with Devon Minnows for targeting trout and salmon.
