Riverge Fluorocarbon

The Kureha Company's fluorocarbons, Riverge, Grand Max and Seaguar Ace have achieved a solid repuatation for performance and reliability since their introduction. All these fluorocarbons have the following in common, their refractive index is nearly the same as water, making them nearly invisible when submerged. Their breaking strains compared to diameter are exceptionally strong, they also knot well and have a high resistance to fatigue.

Riverge Fluorocarbon monofilaments are thinner for a given breaking strain than most other fluorocarbon lines available and are in many cases twice the breaking strain for an equal diameter.

They sink readily without treatment at abour 3 times the speed of nylon. The abrasion resistance and invisibility off all these fluorocarbons ensures that fish are neither spooked or lost.
