Description / RIO Scandi Body
A versatile body that combines Skagit power with Scandi grace
The Scandi body is a short body to which a multitude of tips can be attached – it is the most versatile design of all, and blends Skagit power with Scandi grace. It is ideal for anglers that want to travel light, yet have multiple fishing options.
To the front end of the body anglers can attach regular 10 ft & 15 ft tips, MOW tips, “T” tips, iMOW tips or VersiLeaders, and with three different body densities to choose from (floating, intermediate and Sink 4), all water conditions are covered.

Printed ID system on the rear of the head for quick recognition
Loops on both ends for fast rigging

Easy to cast great distance even for a beginner

One of the staff from Angling Active recommended this short shooting head line for me to start learn to cast with a small double handed -switch rod- to reach great distance. So far after 4 days of practising I managed to get a good line control and enought distance on the local middle size river. The line is fantastic turns over heavier polyleaders and flies easy. I love to cast with it. I can highly recommend the Scandi Body.

Intermediate version of the line is even better than the floater
