Rapala Shallow Shad Rap

The Rapala Shallow Shad Rap is a baitfish imitation lure that produces a wounded minnow wobble on a slow, enticing retrieve and features a Balsa Wood construction for life like swimming action that is unachievable in plastic lures.

The Balsa Wood construction also gives the lure great buoyancy and it is naturally softer than plastic for realistic movement in the water. We have the 9cm model which is designed to imitate a high profile baitfish and is effective for different trout species and larger predators.

You can use the Shallow Shad Rap in a variety of ways, including trolling the lure slowly on a flat line with no additional weight over weed beds and shallows to catch fish that you couldn’t get to with deeper running lures.

With the Shallow Running Lip Design, this lure can be equally effective when twitching, casting or slow trolling. The lure produces a classic Rapala “wounded minnow” wobble which fish will find impossible to resist!

We have the 9cm sized Rapala Shallow Shad Rap which is fitted with Two No.3 VMC Black Nickel hooks. There is a variety of colours that you can select from our drop down menu and there is one lure provided per pack.
