Description / Pike Pro Rigging Wire

The Pike Pro Rigging Wire is an essential piece of terminal tackle that should have a firm place in any predator anglers tackle box. This copper based rigging wire is of a low diameter and is very malleable material meaning it can be incorporated into various rigs easily and can be used over and over again.

Pike pro's rigging wire is ideal for attaching bait poppers to traces, just thread the wire through the bait popper and bring it back down around itself and twist the wire 4 or 5 times around itself to secure the bait popper in place, then wrap the tail end of the wire around the hook shaft until secure. Alternatively, to hold baits in place for longer casts, you can thread the rigging wire through the mouth of the bait and out under its gill plate and then twist it onto the tail treble, this will hold the bait in place securely.

Other rigging options also include, wrapping a length of wire around the shaft of the first treble and then tightly wrapping the other end around the tail root of a bait to tie it in to the trace securely ensuring the bait does not come off during thos heavy handed casts.

The great thing with Pike Pro's rigging wire is the ability to reuse and customise bait popper lengths easily and quickly, there is no need for crimps or crimping tools that more traditional bait popper rigs were made from.

A very handy spool of wire that will no doubt have several uses to any serious predator angler that likes to fin a quick and reliable bankside solution.

The Pike Pro Rigging Wire is supplied on a 5m spool.
